A two-sided marketplace connecting personal trainers with clients in Peru. I designed and built the whole system: the mobile app, three backend services, an admin dashboard, the CMS, and the AWS infrastructure under all of it.
▸Nx monorepo in TypeScript: three NestJS services (REST, admin, WebSocket), a React Native / Expo app, a Next.js admin dashboard, and Strapi 5 as headless CMS.
▸~1,900 lines of Terraform across staging and production: ECS Fargate, Multi-AZ RDS, ElastiCache, S3 + CloudFront, ALB with WAF, SES, Route 53.
▸Event-driven notifications: Redis pub/sub → Socket.IO → Expo push, with in-app badges and background delivery.
▸Cleared both app store reviews, including photo moderation via Rekognition and Peruvian INDECOPI compliance.

I led frontend development on an internal tool used to validate Fortnite cosmetics. The details are covered by NDA; the shape of the work was React, TypeScript and Redux inside a monorepo with a NestJS backend I also contributed to.

A single-page portfolio for Jean Maquera, an audiovisual director based in Lima, Peru. It gathers his films, social media work and photography into one scrolling page that he updates himself, without touching code.
▸Astro ships the site as static HTML with zero framework JavaScript; React loads only on the /admin Sanity Studio route.
▸Sanity publish fires a Vercel deploy hook, rebuilding the static site; six GROQ queries hydrate it in one Promise.all at build time.
▸Photo grid cells size themselves from each image's real aspect ratio, read from Sanity asset metadata in the GROQ query.
▸One vanilla-JS lightbox plays YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and Instagram embeds plus raw video files served from the Sanity CDN.
Multi-tenant SaaS for restaurants in Peru's tourist zones. The owner maintains one menu in Spanish and soles; a diner scans the table QR and reads it in their own language and currency — no app, no login.
▸Lazy translation cached per dish and language in Postgres: gpt-4o-mini on the first request, invalidated when the dish changes, free after that.
▸Culqi subscriptions built against webhooks that contradict both official doc sources — no metadata returns, so they resolve by our own provider id.
▸Tenant isolation in PostgreSQL Row Level Security, with a separate operator policy set behind the admin console and every action audit-logged.
▸Runs free and offline in development: Supabase in Docker, OpenAI behind a deterministic mock, payments behind a BillingProvider interface.
A mobile-first PWA for independent personal trainers: track clients, log sessions, and issue invoices. Replaces the spreadsheet-and-memory workflow with a scoped, auditable ledger.
▸Migrated an Express / Drizzle / SQLite prototype into an Nx monorepo on NestJS, Prisma and PostgreSQL, with domain types shared between web and API.
▸Installable PWA with a Workbox NetworkFirst cache, so the ledger stays readable on patchy gym Wi-Fi and updates itself in the background.
▸Per-user isolation at the framework level: a global JWT guard and a @CurrentUser decorator, so resource ids are never trusted from the client.
▸Server-side invoicing: PDF via pdfmake and CSV export, over a service that aggregates sessions by client, company and date range.
Front-end feature work on latimes.com: TypeScript and Handlebars templates in the Graphene CMS, delivered ticket by ticket inside a large established codebase.
